Travel Budget Calculator

Build a realistic trip estimate from the costs you know. The calculator separates fixed costs from daily spending and adds an optional buffer for surprises.

Your trip estimate

    Plan without false precision

Three ways to make the estimate more useful

Use prices from your actual route and dates. A budget calculator organizes assumptions; it cannot predict exchange rates, dynamic fares or unexpected fees.

    Separate fixed costs

Flights, visas and insurance usually change by traveler, while the room may be shared. Enter the total you expect to pay.

    Keep a buffer

A contingency amount helps with price changes and small surprises, but emergency funds should remain separate.

    Common questions

    Travel budget questions

    Does the calculator convert currencies?

No. Select the currency you are already using for every input. Mixing currencies will make the result inaccurate.

Should flight costs be entered per person?

Enter the combined flight or long-distance travel cost for everyone. Food is the only input automatically multiplied by the number of travelers.

Why are hotel nights separate from trip days?

A seven-day trip may include six hotel nights. Keeping them separate avoids adding an extra night by mistake.
